Pieced Quilts
Around the Block with Terri
Instructor: Terri Nussbaum
Winter and the New Year have arrived and it's time to
start a new quilt. As you think ahead to summer, the
lake, and boating, come on in and see what Terri has
developed for you for this session. This quilt with a
nautical theme is done in red, white & blue. Join Terri
again or for the first time as she shows you the tips
and tricks and shortcuts for quilting.

Girls Night Out

Fun, Fellowship and sewing. That's what this class is
about. If you need help, our instructor is here to give
it. If you want to sew without the interruption of home
this is the class for you. bring your own project and
sew away. Everyone is welcome. First come, first served,
so sign up.

American Quilt Series (Saturday Book Class)

Come join us for a novel idea !! Really a novel, or
novels we should say. In the American Quilt trilogy, The
Pattern, The Pledge and The Promise, bestselling author
Jane Peart follows three generations of family through
the stories of its adventurous young women - heroines of
courage, character and faith. Beginning in the mountains
of North Carolina, and then through the Civil War,
across the country by wagon train to California and
finally across the Pacific to the romance and wild
beauty of Hawaii in the late 19th century. These
three books are love stories with a lovely quilt to
match. Join us once a month for a story, quilting and a
little bit of love.

Scrap Bag Buddies
Instructor: Terri Nussbaum
Become one of the buddies and discover the fun of
playing in your stash, visiting with old friends and
discovering some new ones. Find new and exciting print
combinations, in short do what is the best thing about
quilting - playing with fabric. Terri will help you with
value, variety, pattern and fabric selections. We will
take the fear out of mixing print and color, yes it is
fun to mix it up. In the first session we will go over
guidelines and a study sheet, look at quilts and then
jump right in and start on our quilts. The best thing
about working in a group is that if you don't have that
perfect piece of fabric maybe someone at the table might
and maybe we can make some deals!! Don't have much of a
stash, Carriage Country has the perfect solution! Fabric
Frolic is the first Friday of each month and a great way
to start collecting for your stash.

Sunday Sew with Terri

Join Terri for a fun filled afternoon of sewing. Make
Sunday a special day for yourself, come and sew at the
shop. If you have a project you just want to sew on, or
if you have a project that is challenging you, Terri
will be here to help.

The Road Less Traveled
Instructor: Terri Nussbaum
The Road Less Traveled provides a wonderful opportunity
to explore and create a variety of traditional quilt
block patterns assembled within a sampler quilt
that is fun and easy! Join our club as we journey through
the months to make this exciting quilt. We will meet
once a month leaving plenty of time to do our homework
and ready ourselves for the next adventure. Great
opportunity to learn many new techniques and have fun
while doing it.

Courthouse Steps
Instructor: Terri Nussbaum
This log cabin quilt is fun and easy to do once you have
a plan! That's what Terri is here for. This quilt fits
together like a puzzle and in order to get all of your
fabrics to line up and match block to block you must
have a system, a system that will make this interlocking
pattern go together as easy as . . . Well you will
see. Join us for fun with this traditional log cabin
block - Courthouse Steps. Several different patterns and
layouts will be discussed in class.

Vintage Chain
Instructor: Terri Nussbaum
This quilt is soft, old and full of charm. But the best
part of this quilt is that it is made from 90% jelly
rolls. Using jelly rolls most of the work is done
for you! Pre-cut 2-1/2" strips, all in coordinating
colors. I did choose one background and one fabric for
my center chain. This grounded the quilt and gave it a
direction. The ball's in your court on this one, you can
cut your own strips or you can take the easy way out and
use the jelly rolls. (I won't tell which way you go!)

Crazy Cakes
Instructor: Terri Nussbaum
This is a great use
for the layer cakes that you can now buy in quilt
shops. They are a stack of about 40 fabrics that have
been cut in 10-1/2" squares. These are fun and this
pattern uses the whole square just as it is. So for the
class there is no pre-cutting, just grab a couple of
layer cakes and come on down !! In the class sample I
chose two different layer cakes so that I would have a
little variety in my fabrics, but that have the same
color values. The sky is the limit, have fun with this
one, after all it is a Crazy Man, Crazy Man.

Woven Four Star Table
Runner

This versatile table
runner is beautifully woven to give two entirely
different looks. When you leave this class it is ready

Breakfast with Debbie
Instructor: Debbie Elhard
Start your weekend
off having breakfast with me - I'll be in my jammies, so
be sure to wear yours. Each month we will make a super
simple "get R done" quilt. Come join the fun. In
addition to making a quilt there will be door prizes,
and of course breakfast. Kits will be available.

Mended Hearts

Now's the time to
make yourself a fun and easy quilt for Valentine's Day.
Take your hearts - cut them apart and mend them back
together. Use flannel, homespun or anything that appeals
to you. Raw edge applique makes this quilt quick and
easy to finish.
