Have you always wanted to make a quilt but didn’t
know where to start? Join Bobette as she walks you
through the steps from choosing fabrics, to cutting,
tricks to perfect piecing, and preparing your top
for quilting. Before your class is done you will
know how to sew on the binding and make a label for
your first masterpiece. So sign up today bring a
friend or make new ones in class.

Beginning Quilting
Instructor: Terri Nussbaum
In just 8 weeks you will learn all of the basics
needed to start your quilting hobby. Learn about
color, which tool is for which job, tips for
great piecing, & 2 techniques for appliqué. As your
class comes to a close, Terri will teach you
finishing touches, like basting, and she will touch
on machine quilting. You will learn all you need to
have the confidence to finish and move to bigger and
better projects.
Eight sessions-Tuesday, May 13, 20, June 3, 10,
July 1, 8, 15, 6:00 - 9:00 pm and finish
up on July 26 10:30-4:30

Machine
Quilting

Have you been trying to figure out what the “secret”
is to quilting your quilts? It’s no secret—come and
learn the tips and techniques you need to be a
successful machine quilter. Now is a great time to
finish up those UFO’s in your closet, and once you
take this class, you’ll be able to do it
beautifully!

With this sweet little receiving blanket it is all
about the “B”. Border, backing, and binding all in
one. It only takes two fabrics, and you will be
amazed at how it all comes together. Pick your own
fabric or purchase a kit. Join Colleen for a
fun-filled afternoon and go home with a completed
receiving blanket. Perfect for a gift or enjoy it
yourself. Oh the possibilities once you learn the
technique.

Join us for this new Block of the Month, well not
really a block. How about a new pillowcase each
month. You have seen the kits we have around the
shop. Come on in and let us walk you through the
process of making a simple pillowcase. Each month
there will be a new and different theme
and the kit will be included in the class.

Piecing, trim, buttons, embellishments and a
drawstring. That’s what this bag is about. Join
Michelle for the day to make this darling little bag
to hold your greatest treasures. Once you know the
technique you can make it any size you like.

A series of fun & easy classes for beginning sewers.
The goal is to become comfortable with using a
sewing machine, basic hand sewing, etc. take one or
all 3 for summer fun. Age appropriate for 11 and up.
Sew a Jacket

Instructor: Dee Eliason
Yes, I can sew a jacket! With just 3 squares, make
this jacket in about 2 hours. You will learn about
clothing patterns, using rotary cutters & basic
sewing machine operation, seam finishes & how to
miter a corner. This jacket is a great “blank” for
appliqué or needle felting.
