Instructor: Bobette Weimer
Is there anything more fun than getting together with
other quilters who share your passion for
beautiful fabrics and quilting? How about getting
together to sew, visit, eat, trade triangle blocks and
fabrics? Then, use these blocks to make some gorgeous
quilts that will provide you with memories of fun times
for years to come? We'll take our inspiration from the
book "Friendship Triangles" by Edyta Sitar, and trade
triangle squares to make the lovely quilts in the book.
You decide which projects we do and what colors you want
to trade. Join us once a month, bring a friend, make
some new friends, and start a new quilting adventure.
(Book purchase is required.)

Four Seasons at Minglewood
Instructor: Wendy Hendricks
Join us as we create this wonderful quilt from “Four
Seasons at Minglewood”. The quilt has 32 blocks. Each
month we will get together and work on 2 blocks. We will
squeeze the center appliqué block in early, so you can
have it done by the time your pieced blocks are done.
There will be two colorways available. You may choose
one or both. One leans toward Christmas (not Christmas
fabrics, but gold, red, green, and black). The other is
made of Civil War Reproduction fabrics. I will help you
with cutting tips and tricks, as well as construction of
the blocks. If you can’t make the class… this will also
be offered as a Block of the Month in both colorways.
Join us, there is bound to be lots of fun and laughter!

Pony Express
Instructor: Terri Nussbaum
Quilting and history seem to go hand in hand, and this
quilt is a great example of that. It was Jodi Barrow’s
fascination with the old west that sent her on a journey
to commemorate the “Pony Express” 150th Anniversary. As
Jodi designed this sampler quilt, she incorporated her
love for the square in a square method. Though this is a
good method, sometimes there are other ways to create a
block that may be more efficient. So we will be using
this quilt to learn how to redraft blocks in a method
that fits your style of piecing, and will be more useful
to you! You may use a computer program such as EQ, or a
simple piece of 1/4” graph paper will work too! Take
this class because you love to quilt, or because you
want to learn how to draft blocks! In any case you need
to take this class! (Book Required)
