The
“A” Team (Appliqué Team)
Do you appreciate Barb Adams and Alma Allen’s patterns?
Join the “A” Team as we appliqué blocks from their books
“Home Sweet Home”, “Birds of a Feather”, or “Celebration
of Live”. Learn many appliqué techniques. The club will
meet Tuesdays, May 6, June 10, July 8, and August 5, from 10:30 am - 1:30 pm.
 "Girl
Gang" Jan Patek Gathers Folk Art Friends
Join us
as we continue our Jan Patek Girl Gang Quilt “Town and
Country”. Learn appliqué and piecing techniques as we
work on this wonderful folk art quilt. We have put together
kits for each month that you may purchase for $20 each.
If you can’t make it to the shop for a session, you
may register to receive class materials and kits by
mail.
The Girl’s
Gang will meet at Carriage Country
Quilts, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, on the following
Thursdays:
May 8, June 12, July 17, and August 21.
Those who live too far away to attend meetings may join
by mail.
Quarterly
membership for the Girl’s Gang will be $35. This is
the same for local members and those who join by mail.
(Those who attend in person will be treated to a sampling
of the monthly recipe.)
Hands
to Heart Club
This
club will unite kindred spirits who love needlework.
We gather each month to work on your handwork. Get expert
help if you need help in completing your work. We will
feature special types of handwork as time and interest
allow. We will meet Thursdays, May 22, June 26, July
24, and August 28, from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm.
Hooked
Rug Club
We are taking this class off for the summer. We will
continue in the fall. See other classes that Michele is
offering.
Jo's
Little Women Club
Join us
as we say good-bye and good luck to Christine! Join this
club with new instructor Barb Tomlin-Shorey. Barb has
worked at the store for many years and will be a great
addition to this club. Step back
in time for an old fashioned gathering. In this club
you will be making small vintage looking quilts and needful
things. Make new friends and enjoy the process and the
sense of accomplishment of making small quilts.
This club meets from 10:30 am - 1:30 pm, on Fridays,
May 23, June 27, July 25, and August 22.
Thimbleberries
Club Meetings
Come
join the fun and sail away for a year of fun making
the new Thimbleberries Lodge and Lakeside Club Quilt.
We’ll have lots of extra projects provided by Lynette
plus plenty of laughter, friends and treats at our monthly
meeting. Each month you can purchase a fabric kit and
receive a free pattern to create a family heirloom.
Monthly meetings include show and tell, door prizes,
food and other creative activities. We will meet on
the following Wednesdays, May 7, June 11, July 9, and
August 20, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm or; 6:30
pm - 8:30 pm.
Virgin
Wool Club
For the first timer or an experienced
stripper and hooker; join this flock, who like wool,
to finish a penny rug or appliqué an heirloom quilt
like “Garden Gathering”. We will meet on the following
Tuesdays, May 27, June 24, July 22, and August 26, from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm.
