“A” Team (Appliqué Team)
Do you appreciate Barb Adams and Alma Allen’s patterns?
Join the “A” Team as we appliqué blocks from their books
“Home Sweet Home”, “Birds of a Feather”, or “Celebration
of American Life”. Learn many appliqué techniques. The club will
meet Tuesdays, September 16, October 21, November 18, and
December 16, from 10:30 am - 1:30 pm.
"Favorite Things" 2008-2009 Girl
Gang by Jan Patek
Jan has designed her best quilt ever! It's called
"Favorite Things" and has all the elements us folksy
girls love. We have baskets, bunnies, houses, hearts,
flowers, stars and pineapples. The colors are refreshing
and whimsical. Be sure to sign up soon as space is

Quilts, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, on the following

December 18.
Those who live too far away to attend meetings may join
by mail.
Hands
to Heart Club
This club will unite kindred spirits who love
needlework. We gather each month to work on your
handwork. Get expert help from Gerry if needed in completing your
project. We will
feature special types of handwork as time and interest
allow. We will meet Thursdays, September 11, October 7,
November 6, and December 4, from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm.
Hooked
Rug Club
Join
Michele each month and hook a small unique project or
get help on your own hooking projects. We will meet
Saturdays, September 27, October 18, November 22, and
December 20 from 10:30am - 1:30pm.
Jo's
Little Women Club
Jo's
Little Women Club continues in the spirit of stepping
back in time, when quilts were necessity. Join this club
and make a new project each month using reproduction
fabrics and patterns designed by Jo Morton.
This club meets from 10:30 am - 1:30 pm, on
Fridays,
September 19, October 24, November 21, and December
19.
Thimbleberries Club
Come
join the fun and sail away for a year of fun making
the new Thimbleberries Lodge and Lakeside Club Quilt.
We’ll have lots of extra projects provided by Lynette
plus plenty of laughter, friends and treats at our monthly
meeting. Class is $5.00 monthly. Quilt kit and
extra project kits an additional charge. It's never to
late to join, jump right into class any month. We will meet on
the following Wednesdays, September10, October 8,
November 12, and
December 10, 10:30 am - 1:30 pm or; 6:30
pm - 8:30 pm.
Virgin
Wool Club
For the first timer or an experienced
stripper and hooker, join this flock, who like wool. Finish
up an existing project or start a new one. Try your hand
at wool applique' and make an heirloom quilt like
"Garden Gathering", or start on a smaller simpler one
like "Sheep in the Willows" or "Retro Halloween", kits
are available for all three and many more! We will meet on the following
Tuesdays, September 16, October 21, November 18, and
December 16, from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm.
Dear Jane
Now that summer is
over, vacations are done and the kids are back in
school, it's time to get those "Dear Jane" blocks out
and begin to work on them again. How many do you have
done? Join us one Sunday each month to work on your
"Dear Jane" blocks. Christine is back, to work with you
and show you simple methods to put these small blocks
together. We will meet Sundays, September 14, October
12, November 9, and December 14 from 12:00pm - 3:00pm.
