Crocheted Rugs (Debbie Elhard)                                         Class Fee $30.00

Learn to make a crocheted rug with your scraps of fabric! You can bring pieces home and make it colorful or not… all up to you! Join us for an afternoon and learn a wonderful way to use up your scraps!

Intro to Color Embroidery (Leslie True)                                                   Class Fee $30.00

Harvest Blessings

During this one-session skill building class you will learn the basics. We will talk about tools, thread selection, and fabric preparation, as well as the most common stitches used in embroidery. If you have never tried embroidery but always wanted to learn, or just need a refresher on the basics, this class is for you!

1 Session: Friday, September 29,     11:00-2:00

Intro to Quilting (Leslie True)                                                         Class Fee $50.00

Take 5

In this two session skill building class you will learn the basics starting at the very beginning. We will talk about tools, rotary cutting, piecing, fabric selection, and binding.  We are making the Take 5 quilt which promises, “Take 5 minutes, choose 5 fabrics, and in 5 hours you've made this fantastic quilt!”

This quilt uses large rectangles and squares which is great for the beginner. You will learn the basics of piecing with this quilt while still finishing quickly enough to feel accomplished. Quilt Size: approx. 58” x 58”

Pattern  purchase required, kit available.

Intro to  Wool (Leslie True)                                                            Class Fee $50.00

Happy Jacks and Candy Corn

In this two-session skill building class you will learn the basics starting at the very beginning. We will talk about tools, thread selection, and fabric preparation, as well as the most common stitches used in wool applique. If you have never tried embroidery but always wanted to learn, or just need a refresher on the basics, this class is for you!  Kit Purchase Required

2 Sessions:  Wednesdays: September 13, October 11,     11:00 – 2:00 

Let’s Keep On Sewing (Alyne Hansen)                                        Class Fee $50.00

With Bobette’s retirement, her legacy lives on with this class.   The class continues with Alyne Hansen as the teacher, and will feature a quilt to make over the  4-month session.   Students have the choice to purchase the kit or use their own fabrics.   Pattern purchase required.

This session’s project offerings:  The Crow’s Meow or The Scary Woods

4 sessions: Tuesdays: September 12, October 10, November 14, December 12,   6:00-9:00

Mystery Star Quilt (Debbie Elhard)                                                                                        Class Fee $50.00

This is a fun star quilt (Debbie’s favorite) that requires one Jelly roll  and  3 1/4 yards of background.  Choose your favorites or pick our kit like Debbie’s sample.  The pattern is a mystery!

Pattern included in the class fee and kits are available. 

2 sessions: Tuesdays:  September 26, October 17,     6:00-9:00 

Open Sew                                                                                      Class Fee $20.00

Do you need space to sew with your friends? We invite you to use our classroom. We’ll supply the coffee, you bring your friends and your UFOs (UnFinished Objects)! Laugh the afternoon away as you complete those pesky projects.

 4 sessions: Thursdays  September 21, October 19, November  16, December 14,   10:30-4:00

Sew Much Fun Night Out (Alyne Hansen)                                $25.00 Each Session

Be prepared for some fun, games, and a few prizes, along with Alyne’s advice and help in completing your UFOs (UnFinished Objects)!

Minimum/Maximum Participants: the minimum of 4 participants must be signed up one week before class, otherwise the class for that month will be canceled.   Limit 10 participants.

Supplies: Bring your sense of humor and equipment/supplies for UFOs!

3 sessions: Fridays:  October  6, November 3, December 1,   5:00-10:00

Sewing Circle (Debbie Elhard)                                                       Class Fee $50.00

Come and sew with friends! Bring your wool, embroidery, or other projects with you to work on while you sit and chat with fun sewing friends!

4 Sessions:  Tuesdays: September 26, October 17, November 21, December 5,   11:00-2:00

Wooly Girls (Alyne Hansen)                                                           Class Fee $50.00

Wooly Girls offers your choice of several projects for this 4-month session, or continuation of your on-going wool Block Of the Month.    Alyne will help and get you going on your wool adventure.  A strong beginner is recommended for this class.  Monthly kit purchase is required.

Pomegranates, Peppermint & Holly - 6 months

Small Fall Wall hanging  - 2 months

Here Comes Santa Claus - 2 months

Autumn Sampler - 4 months

4 sessions: Saturdays:  September  9, October 14, ​November 11, December 9,   10:30-1:30

Wool Recovery (Carole Johnson)                                                   Class Fee $50.00

 Have you purchased too many wool kits from the shop but don’t have enough time to finish them? This class is for you! Join us for a fun 3 hours of stitching wool, snacks, and friendships. 

 

4 sessions: Wednesdays: September 20, October 18, November 15, December 20,   11:00 – 2:00

Class Policies
Please Read Carefully 

Please be aware that in signing up for a class, you are agreeing to adhere to our class policies as outlined below:

Inclement Weather: In the event of inclement weather, please check our Facebook page for the most up to date information. If road conditions are too icy for us to have class, it’s likely the store will not be open and there may be no one in the shop to answer your call. Classes postponed due to inclement weather will be rescheduled at the teacher’s convenience as soon as possible.

Refunds and Cancellations: CCQ reserves the right to cancel any class that does not meet the minimum participation levels. In the event a class is canceled for this reason, you will receive a full refund. Classes that are rescheduled due to inclement weather are only eligible for store credit.

If you cancel more than 14 days before class, you will receive a refund in store credit. If you cancel after that period or fail to show up for a class, no credit or refund will be given.

Be Thoughtful of Others:  It’s a small space to be shared in the basement, so please do NOT attend class if you have any symptoms of a cold or flu and may be contagious.
