Welcome to the Funny Farm! Intro to Embroidery (Leslie True) Class fee $30.00

Join us on the Funny Farm!  During this three-session skill building class you will learn the basics. We will talk about tools, thread selection, and fabric preparation, as well as the most common stitches used in embroidery. If you have never tried embroidery but always wanted to learn, or just need a refresher on the basics, this class is for you!

Intro to Quilting (Leslie True) Class Fee $30.00

The class will be making the Brighton Table Runner and learn the basics of piecing blocks and creating a quilt top in two sessions.  Tabletastic 3 book purchase required, kit available.

Solare Block of the Month Club  (Leslie True) Class Fee $30.00

Do you have trouble staying motivated when working on a long project? Everything is more fun when you’re with friends! Sign up for our newest Block of the month, Solare and attend monthly sessions to help you get your blocks finished

Sew Much Fun Night Out (Alyne Hansen) $25.00 Each Session

Be prepared for some fun, games, and a few prizes, along with Alyne’s advice and help in completing your UFOs (UnFinished Objects)! Minimum/Maximum Participants: the minimum of 4 participants must be signed up one week before class, otherwise the class for that month will be canceled.   Limit 10 participants.  Supplies: Bring your sense of humor and equipment/supplies for UFOs!

  • 5:00-10:00pm

Intro to Wool (Leslie True) Class Fee $25.00

The class will make the wool table mat, Daffodil Dance.  In this one-session skill building class you will learn the basics starting at the very beginning. We will talk about tools, thread selection, and fabric preparation, as well as the most common stitches used in wool applique. If you have never tried embroidery but always wanted to learn, or just need a refresher on the basics, this class is for you!

Classes in Session:

The Featherweight Club (Alyne Hansen)  Class Fee $50.00  - FULL

Whether or not you own a Featherweight machine, you are welcome to join this new club.  We will be launching this club with a new project:   Scrappy Pineapple Quilt. 

Monthly kit purchase required.  You may also work on your own projects, but monthly kit purchase is required.  Two extra Featherweight machines are available.  Reservations are required for the 2 extra machines, on a first come, first service basis.

Let’s Keep On Sewing (Alyne Hansen)  Class Fee $50.00 -  FULL

With Bobette’s retirement, her legacy lives on with this class.  The class continues with Alyne Hansen as the teacher, and will feature a quilt to make over the 4-month session.  Students have the choice to purchase the kit or use their own fabrics.  Pattern purchase required.

Sewing Circle (Debbie Elhard) Class Fee $30.00  - FULL

Come and sew with friends! Bring your wool, embroidery, or other projects with you to work on while you sit and chat with fun sewing friends!

  • 2 Sessions:  Tuesdays: May 2, Aug 22

  • 11:00-2:00

 

Wooly Girls (Alyne Hansen) Class Fee $50.00   - FULL

Wooly Girls offers your choice of several projects for this 4-month session, or continuation of your on-going wool BOM.  Alyne will help and get you going on your wool adventure.  A strong beginner is recommended for this class.  Monthly kit purchase is required. 

  • This session’s project offerings:  Into the Garden (4 months), Seascapes (2 months), Seasonal Flag (1 month)

  • 4 sessions: Saturdays: May 13, Jun 10, Jul 8, Aug12

  • 10:30-1:30pm

Wool Recovery (Carole Johnson) Class Fee $50.00   (4 spots left)

Have you purchased too many wool kits from the shop but don’t have enough time to finish them? This class is for you! Join us for a fun 3 hours of stitching wool, snacks, and friendships.

  • 4 sessions: Wednesdays: May 17, June 14, July 19, Aug 16

  • 11:00 – 2:00

Class Policies
Please Read Carefully 

Please be aware that in signing up for a class, you are agreeing to adhere to our class policies as outlined below:

Inclement Weather: In the event of inclement weather, please check our Facebook page for the most up to date information. If road conditions are too icy for us to have class, it’s likely the store will not be open and there may be no one in the shop to answer your call. Classes postponed due to inclement weather will be rescheduled at the teacher’s convenience as soon as possible.

Refunds and Cancellations: CCQ reserves the right to cancel any class that does not meet the minimum participation levels. In the event a class is canceled for this reason, you will receive a full refund. Classes that are rescheduled due to inclement weather are only eligible for store credit.

If you cancel more than 14 days before class, you will receive a refund in store credit. If you cancel after that period or fail to show up for a class, no credit or refund will be given.

Be Thoughtful of Others:  It’s a small space to be shared in the basement, so please do NOT attend class if you have any symptoms of a cold or flu and may be contagious.
